# ⏳ How Often Does QIE Oracle Update Prices?

QIE Oracle updates asset prices at **regular, configurable intervals**, tailored to the nature of each asset:

* **Cryptocurrencies** (e.g., BTC, ETH, BNB) are updated **every few minutes** to accurately reflect rapid market changes.
* **Real-world assets** (e.g., XAUt – Tether Gold) are updated **every few minutes** or according to the schedule of trusted external data providers.

Developers can always verify the **timestamp** of the latest price by querying the Oracle contract’s data. This helps confirm the price feed is **up-to-date** before relying on it in smart contract logic.
